Lalit Agrawal holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) degree from BITS Pilani and an M. Tech. (Industrial Management) from IIT Kharagpur. In 1998, Ostern Pvt. Ltd., commenced ballpoint pen manufacturing under his dynamic leadership, and later ventured into thin-wall containers for food packaging. He established Glen Industries Limited (GIL) in 2019 with a view to expand in the growing market of food packaging and service products industry. With four decades of extensive experience both in India and overseas, he is a veteran in the industry. His unwavering dedication has been instrumental in positioning GIL as a prominent player in the domestic and international market today. He is President of Indian Plastics Federation 2023-25, Managing Committee member of Plastindia Foundation since 2024. He is associated with many professional bodies like, AIMA, CMA, Institution of Engineers, AIPMA, IIP, OPPI, IPI and trade bodies like Merchant Chamber of Commerce and Industries, PLEXCONCIL, Federation of Indian Exporters Organization etc.
